Train courses for Advanced Vocational Certificate in the field of Prosthetics Technician.
In the academic year of 2023, thirteen first-year students pursuing an Advanced Vocational Certificate in the field of prosthetic technician at Chiang Mai Technical College commenced their studies at The Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H. The Princess Mother in Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province. Dr.Piroon Kumoon, M.D., the Deputy Secretary-General for Academic Affairs and Research, along with doctors, prosthetists, and technicians from the foundation, served as instructors, contributing their expertise to guide the students. This initiative is part of a joint project between the Prostheses Foundation and Chiang Mai Technical College, aiming to develop vocational certificate graduates capable of pursuing careers in the production and implementation of prosthetics to aid individuals with disabilities. The academic year of 2023had a total of sixteen students in their first year of Advanced Vocational Certificate studies and seven students in the second year of the program.
