Physical Therapy Students and Supervisors from the United States Visit the Prostheses Foundation .

On January 5, 2026, a group of 7 physical therapy students and supervisors from different universities in USA including University of California (UCLA), Auburn University, Arkansas State University, Albany State University and College of Western Idaho visited the Prostheses Foundation of Her Royal Highness The Princess Mother. They were welcomed by Clinical Professor Dr. Niwes Nantachit, Secretary-General of the Foundation, Associate Professor Rome Chiranukrom, Deputy Secretary-General, and Ms. Akiyo Kuniyoshi.

The visit included informative sessions about the foundation’s history, the evolution of prosthetic legs developed by the foundation, and case studies on amputees. The group toured the 30th Anniversary Exhibition Hall as well as observed the demonstration of the prosthesis fabrication at the foundation’s main office in Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province.
